One of the most infamous pirates in history, Henry Morgan, captained a genuine ship called Black Pearl. The most well-known of the Black Pearl’s several conflicts, which began when it sailed for the first time in 1669, was an assault of Panama in 1671. Captain Morgan was imprisoned in England the following year. He returned to Jamaica as a judge and governor several years later. After a protracted illness, Henry Morgan passed away in England in 1688.
